Tom's of Maine Clean & Gentle Care toothpaste leaves your teeth and mouth feeling clean and fresh without using sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS). SLS foams and disperses ingredients but for some may cause mouth and gum irritation. This breakthrough formula uses the gentle ingredient glycyrrhizin (purified from licorice root) for natural foaming and xylitol to help soothe a dry mouth. Sensitive to the planet. Tom's uses recycled and recyclable packaging and invests in wind energy to power our factory. Does not contain saccharin; artificial sweeteners.
- SLS-free - the foaming properties of glycyrrhizin (from purified licorice root) replace the need for SLS.
- Soothing brushing experience - xylitol (from birch trees or corn), gentle glycerin, and organic aloe have soothing properties.
