Martha's Vineyard Furniture Company is the brainchild of an Interior Designer, an Environmental Consultant, and a retired Restaurant Owner who all happen to be related. Combining their interests and expertise, Liz Stiving-Nichols (Interior Designer), Billy Watterson (Environmental Consultant), and John Stiving (retired business owner) have created a furniture company that is environmentally friendly with both the production process as well as the materials used.
Martha's Vineyard Furniture Company currently offers 3 lines: Many Shades of Green, Olive Street and the Agrarian Green Collection. Every piece of furniture is made-to-order in small, family run workshops within the USA. The beautiful Island of Martha's Vineyard is the inspiration for their furniture. Each piece of furniture is named after a place on the Island and each color selected for their painted furniture is a reflection of how they see life on Martha's Vineyard. They think Islanders and Wash-a-shores alike would agree.
